2008 Hurricane Relief 08 Oct 2008 - News as of this morning The church of Christ in Orange, Texas had half its 40 families flooded and a neighboring church had all its 40 families flooded. These churches are working together to share resources. Help is being delivered this weekend, but more is needed to rescue these brothers and sisters in Jesus. The church in Sulphur, Louisiana (Brian Spicer, preacher) is leading an effort to rescue people in Cameron Parrish along the coast of the state and to plant a church in that part of the state. Texas churches in Surfside, Lake Jackson, Clear Lake, Pearl Land, and in Galveston are among the churches we are reaching with relief assistance. Please read the reports about Haiti and pray for the people there. If you want to help please contribute. Thanks for your prayers and financial assistance. Don Yelton, director WFR Relief News Reports on Haiti - Confirmed by emails from Church leaders who are trying to reach those in need.
