AMEN Ministry WFR Church of Christ 3201 N. 7th Street West Monroe, LA 71291 "Why the AMEN Ministry needs financial help": Dear friends, The White's Ferry Road Church of Christ sponsors the AMEN Ministry and provides prayer and encouragement. We have been blessed to have several loyal contributors who have helped for many years, but they are few in number. Please help us if you are able. The AMEN Ministry no longer pays me a salary, so I work as a ‘volunteer’. Harriet spends four or more hours a day answering emails and phone calls. We want to encourage her. Without Harriet making the Locator Service work every day we would not have this ministry to the military. AMEN is 'her' ministry and she loves helping Christians and young people in the military because she remembers the 26 years we spent on active duty. She has experienced the pain families have when they do not know if their son or daughter is finding Christian fellowship and worship opportunities. We deeply appreciate the contributions, fellowship and prayers Christians have given to keep the AMEN Ministry in service for three decades. Thousands of young Christians in the United States Military have been helped and almost every day we are blessed to help someone. Not many churches or mission points can say that. Our budget is $3,000 per month. We keep an ad in the Christian Chronicle, provide Harriet’s salary, this web site, and maintain an office to promote the ministry, answer phone calls, faxes, and other office expenses. God always provides for our needs. We believe the AMEN Ministry is valuable to the Kingdom of Jesus. We pray that you will see this ministry as valuable to the kingdom of God.
