Haiti - 5/18/11 - new constructions using earthbag technology have benefited many

- The Cholera epidemic has spread and more have died. Cholera
is from bad water, a problem Haiti has had for many years but with the close
living in tents and the inadequate water treatment, food and water sources
become contaminated. You can
help with funding to purchase water
purification systems and well digging.

- Nov 16, 2010 Heard from Lucner Pierre that Cap Haitian (CAP) is now
under locked due to rioting and the Cholera epidemic. It has spread severely
to CAP. We know that 3 members of the church in CAP have died and more is
expected. The airport was closed due to the rioting and no flights are
getting in. Please pray for them. If you decide to
help
this is one avenue to provide assistance. Funds have already been wired to
both CAP and PAP to purchase medicine and food.
- Japan -
WFR Relief has ‘Eyes on the Ground’ in Japan who are already assessing
earthquake and tsunami damage in their communities. Contributions to help
the victims (we are checking with American Military families as well as
Japanese Christians) will be sent to churches of Christ in the disaster
area. News will be posted on our Face Book and Web site, but WFR Relief
will help the needy through churches of Christ in Japan.
India - MUMBAI - There are 10,000 people in the are of slums with not
one toilet as stated in the Associated Press, 10/30/2010. There is no clean
water and no trash relief. The shacks are made of trash and put together with
anything they can find. This is just one location where
help is needed. There
are many others.
Kenya - Starvation has taken it's toll. Food purchase and clean water
are needed. Help by donating to purchase both. With so many orphans the need
will always be there to help.

Philippines - MOUNT MERAPI - Funds are needed to
help those in the
Philippines after the eruption of the volcano. Mentawai islands - A Tide
wave has killed 413 so far as of 10/31/2010 and still many are missing.
