2.    What was the best thing about being in your earthly family growing up?

3.    John 13:1-16 What is the most significant lesson Jesus is showing his disciples by washing their feet?  Can you think of a modern equivalent?

4.    John 13:34-35 Why does Jesus show love before he commands love? What are some ways that the modern Christian has reversed Christ’s sequencing? (Example, THE Command)  How has that worked out?

5.    1 John 3:16 What are some ways we can “lay down our lives for others?”

6.    At the “community of the cross,” Alan mentioned four people: Desperate Thief; Dependent Family; Dirty Roman Soldier; Delivered Pharisee.  Which one of these best described how YOU came to Christ?
