EXPLORING THE TEXT READ Col. 3:1-11
1. (3:1-4) What are some practical things you can do to help keep your heart/mind on things above? What did Paul mean when he said “your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” (3:3)
2. (3:5-7) What is the most dangerous word in this list to you? Why? When Paul says in vs. 6-Because of these the wrath of God is coming, is he talking about in time wrath, end of time wrath or maybe both? (Explain)
3. (3:8-9a) What are some dangers of anger? How does language reflect attitude? How does lying affect people for the negative?
4. (3:9b-11) How does a “New You” reflect back to a time before sin entered into the world? What are some reasons people fail to be renewed in Christ? Why must Christ be the key to all renewal?
