1.    What is the hardest thing for you to stay committed to right now?  (Diet, exercise, job, family, church, etc.)

 

EXPLORING THE TEXT READ Php. 2:1-5

 

       2.    Obviously, the words in Php. 2;1-2 are positive, up-lifting words.  Why is it important to be positive, rather than negative when attempting to hold to one’s commitments?

 

       3.    Is this natural (not being negative), especially when challenging others to hold to commitment?  Why is it difficult to stay positive when trying to stay committed?

 

4.    In Php. 2:3-4, we see the real crux of why we fall short in our relationships. How different would our relationships be if we held to these two verses?

 

5.    In Php 2:5, we see the ultimate example of commitment in the embodiment of Jesus Christ. Why is it important to stay connected to the Body of Christ if we want to stay committed in all of our relationships?
